Fizzy Pop FA Cup Rules

HELLO!!

Each week during the FA Cup the Fizzy Popper's will be drawn against each other in pairs. Owing to the fact there are 5 of us, one will sit out each week.

7 games will then be selected from the round of the FA Cup taking place that weekend.

You will score points on the EXACT same basis as the Fizzy Pop League.

HOWEVER, and this is the important bit, you will be playing against the person you have been drawn against. If you can get more points than them, or win if you like, you get 4 points. If you get the same as your opponent, or draw, you get 2 and if you lose you get 0. If your predictions earn you more than 5 points in your match, you receive a bonus point, regardless of whether you have won, drawn or lost your match. These points are then used to create the league table for the Fizzy Pop FA Cup.

After round 5 of the FA Cup has been completed, the 2 players who occupy the top 2 places in the league table will go through to the final. In the event of a tie Points difference will be used, then Points for, then head to head record. In the event that the players cannot be seperated using these methods, whoever has scored more points on the 6 pointers over the course of the competition shall progress.

The top 2 from the league will then predict the Quarter Final matches in a straight up head to head format to see who will be declared the Fizzy Pop FA Cup winner 2009!
